Nihal Keleş: “I want so much, I’m trying so hard, of course I know my dreams will come true!”

Nihal Keleş worked in different fields such as making tea and coffee, cooking and babysitting at workplaces. When the conditions were not what she wanted, she had to stop working outside.
Thinking “I should produce something at home”, she decided to make Dumplings, which is not produced much in the neighborhood. The TV series Number 7, which she watched as a child, was instrumental in this. She always wanted to have a small Dumplings shop. In 2019, she started making Dumplings and selling them to her friends, fellow teachers and friends. The appreciation of her delicious Dumplings increased her customer base. She also faced different challenges, but she did not want to give up. When you want to host a guest, Nihal comes to your aid!
”I hesitated a lot, I stumbled a lot, but I didn’t give up because I want to do something, I shouldn’t give up.”
Nihal lost her house with her belongings in the February 6 earthquake.
She could not work for a long time after the earthquake. After she was able to establish a new order in the container, she started producing again to sell at the Subaşı Labor Bazaar. At the bazaar, she learned about MaviKalem’s program. She was very excited to apply for the program that would help her improve her business! Once she joined the program, the materials provided made her work easier and faster.
“Your support has been like a medicine for me. It relieved me a lot, my work became faster and easier. I do my job more willingly. Thanks to you, I can take orders without fear.”

Nihal produces products on order. The decrease in purchasing power in the region and the increase in product prices made her think that she should not continue with Dumplings only. In addition to Dumplings, she started making different pastries such as cookies, pastries, and pastries. She takes orders and produces through her Instagram Account and WhatsApp status, where she exhibits and promotes her products.
Nihal continues to produce to take her business out of the house and open a workplace and formalize her business by opening a dumpling shop, which has been her dream since childhood.
