Sevil Binici: Skillful Hands in Hair Care!

Sevil has been practicing her profession almost since childhood without ever losing her love for hairdressing. Sevil, who worked abroad for 19 years, established a small workplace there and made her dream come true by even remodeling it herself.
Despite the pressures and all the difficulties she faced, she continued her business, providing employment for women and teaching them a profession. She established her own order, built a customer base and brought her profession to the point she wanted. However, she had to return to Turkey just when she had settled down. After returning to Hatay, she could not continue her profession. Not working, not being able to continue the work and dreams she had left unfinished made her sad.
During the earthquake, she started to provide free hairdressing services to people around her to cheer them up and meet their care needs. This gave Sevil the happiness of doing her job again, which she had not been able to do for a long time. She started to earn income by working as a hairdresser in tents. As she was thinking about going back to work, she saw MaviKalem’s project and immediately applied. With the acceptance of her application, she was able to fully establish her business with the materials she acquired.
“It was as if I was waiting for a magic wand and that’s when I crossed paths with you. This happiness is priceless. Thanks to your support, I became stronger and became an example for my children. I never gave up and thanks to you, I embraced my work with all my hands and established my business. I can host customers as I wish and satisfy my customers.”
Sevil continues to work as a hairdresser and provides employment for women. With the support of her children and those around her, she improves her business every day. She spends her income on her work, her children and her family. Supporting her family and especially her children is her greatest happiness.
“I always tell myself that I can do it, that I can overcome this. I get very tired, I labor a lot, but I love my job. I am happy when I make people happy.”
