Ebru Yoğun: Women come to the industry and shop with her!

A woman in the auto oil and auto parts industry! Ebru shows that women can take part in this sector and that women are needed. Women come to the industry and shop from her comfortably.
Ebru graduated from the business administration department at university. After her marriage, she went to Cyprus and worked in many different sectors for 8 years. After a painful loss, she returned to Hatay. She grew her livestock business, which started with raising a calf for morale. He became the owner of twenty cattle and a huge barn. He worked as a livestock breeder for nearly ten years, producing milk and dairy products and delivering them to the surrounding districts and neighborhoods. He continued his work with love and meticulousness. Before the earthquake, he decided to quit this business due to increasing costs. He talked to his wife and told her that he wanted to support her. After the earthquake, this idea was finalized. She sold her cattle and started selling auto oil and parts to her husband’s workplace with the income she earned.
Ebru heard about the project application through a woman in her circle. She applied thinking that she would not get a response because she applied to many places after the earthquake and did not get a positive response. She was discouraged about this. She thought she could not do anything. Ebru could not believe her eyes when she saw the materials requested from MaviKalem. She describes that day as follows:

This support was a great morale booster for Ebru. After the shelves, she noticed a big change and order in her workplace. With the great support of her husband and children, she continued her business and did not give up!
Ebru continues to sell auto oil and parts in her husband’s mechanic shop. She not only does this, but also creates orders for auto oil and parts, provides the materials they need in the repair department, and arranges the products. His aim is to meet the customer’s demand quickly and to satisfy the customer! For this, he tries to be as active as he can. He endeavors to learn the names of oils and parts by researching them. Ebru, who is very fond of her job, has developed a certain customer base. She describes herself in her new job as follows:

“When I started this job, I didn’t know the job at all. I learned the job by researching, asking, looking at product codes on the computer. At first I thought I couldn’t do it, that it was very difficult, but it was a very enjoyable and easy job. At first I thought it was not a job suitable for women, but I was wrong, I think it is a job suitable for women and very enjoyable.”
Ebru wants to grow and develop her business. She invests the money she earns in her business. The reason why she wants to develop and expand her business is that women are now everywhere and they can move freely and freely. She realized that most women cannot go to the industry and that they are happy and comfortable when they see a woman in the industry:
‘“Women are everywhere now! But I see that they are not comfortable everywhere. This is a mechanic, I want women to be able to come here and do their work with peace of mind. After I started this business, I realized that women come here more easily. They feel safe here and this makes me very happy. I want this to continue and I really want to continue this business.”
